Dr. Daws received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1972. He is a Board Certified Surgeon and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. After practicing conventional medicine for more than 30 years, Dr. Daws became interested in anti-aging and preventative medicine. As his interest and knowledge grew in this field, the concept of a Wellness Center developed. It is with great pride that his practice now includes a variety of modalities to provide you with the most optimal results. These include cosmetic and general surgery, aesthetics and skincare, weight management and hormone therapy. At Daws Wellness Center the staff are highly trained, licensed medical professionals which ensure safe and effective treatments.
In Dr. Daws' free time he enjoys spending time with his family, farming and boating on Lake Hartwell. His hobbies are flying his Piper Warrior and going to see the Georgia Bulldawgs play football.
Laura has been a Surgical Technologist and First Assistant since 1974. She has assisted her husband, Dr. Daws and managed their practice since 1989. As time passed Laura became increasingly interested in fitness and in 2004 she obtained her certification as a personal fitness trainer from the National Personal Training Institute in Orlando, FL. As the practice expanded her credentials grew to include certification in advanced laser treatments. When Laura is not working she enjoys playing on Lake Hartwell with her family and friends, as well as sharing her healthy recipes.
Kathy Gray has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 14 years and a Licensed Aesthetican for 8 years. She is licensed in the states of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Body Work. Kathy's hands help soothe your aches and pains and help facilitate the body's own natural healing powers. She was the recipient of the "Golden Hands Award" in South Florida. As an instructor in esthetics she stays abreast of the latest developments in the skin care industry and will customize facials and a skin care plan for your own unique needs. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
Betsy completed her Medical Assistant training in 1998 and has worked for Dr. Daws since that time. With her friendly attitude and her love for the patients she goes the extra mile to meet every patient’s individual needs. Betsy is an expert in insurance and billing. She is very dependable and reliable so if you ever need information she can give it to you or you can be assured she will get back to you with the information you want quickly. She was born and raised in New York but has resided in Georgia since 1979 where she met her husband and has raised her 4 children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Amy Ray Cobb has been a licensed Aeshetician for 4 years and is a certified laser technician with Sciton and Iridex. She is passionate about healthy skin and loves working at Daws Wellness Center. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Gary.
